"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I did...It was so nice. Kym and Marshall and my Mom and Dad came. We ate everything in sight. My Mom and I stayed up late Wednesday night and made her famous, delicious stuffing. We had pumpkin cheesecake and apple pie and all the other trimmings...I LOVE FOOD! I took the day off from dieting and it was soooo worth it.

Over the weekend I went and helped out Cyndi and Ben with some moving (they finally sold their house...yeah!). Jeff kept the three older kids, so I just had Audrey. It was almost like a little vacation. They got a lot accomplished and hopefully will be all moved in and settled by Tuesday.

Well, can you believe it?? Christmas is almost here. I am so excited. It is such a fun time of year. I have had some cute ideas to get my kids in the spirit. Actually, I was hoping to enlist the help of all of you with one of my ideas. I want to put together a book that has 25 Christmas stories in it. Every day in December until Christmas I want to read my kids a story in the morning that relates the true meaning of Christmas. If you have any wonderful stories or know where I could find some, could you pass it on to me?? I am planning on posting the stories here everyday so you can read, and share. and pass along the Christmas spirit to your loved ones! Thanks a lot!

Even More Pictures

PIctures from Bonfire

Soccer Pictures

Last Saturday was the most beautiful day in the middle of November ever!!! It was near 80 degrees and the wind was blowing, I LOVED IT!! We were able to spend most of the day outside which was just perfect. Our kids had their last soccer games of the season, which they both lost, but played their little hearts out. Afterwards, the YMCA put on a BBQ for all the kids and their families and handed out trophies. It was really a blast.

While we were at the BBQ a bunch of us got together and started talking about what a beautiful day it was and how we should get together and do something fun. We decided to go to Assateague Island (It is the beach where the wild horses run free), and have a bonfire. Bonfires are my most favorite thing to do in the whole world. There ended up being thirty of us who went. We all brought a ton of food and roasted marshmallows and starbursts...yes starbursts (it's a technique I learned out west...so awesome). We sang songs and besides it getting really cold we had a great time. I thought I would post some pictures from the day.

Blah

I have been having an off week. Just plain stinky. What is weird is there is no reason for it. Maybe I am about to get sick. I feel healthy enough, I just have no desire to put any extra effort into anything. Right now, I should be jumping for joy. Audrey is sleeping and Dallin asked me if he could take a nap too (He must have been super tired he fell asleep within seconds). I've had a solid hour of peace and quiet...shouldn't I feel giddy, shouldn't I be running through the fields singing from the top of my lungs, I am free, I am free??? Nope, not today, I just don't have the will to be happy. Oh well, I should at least get off my lazy bum and get some laundry folded. Maybe I'll feel like skipping through the daisies tomorrow.
